Thoughtfully integrating professional training and human understanding
KM Therapy is a private practice where the therapeutic relationship is central to the work. Here, you have a space to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and begin to feel more grounded in your life.

Kelsey Munster, LPC, EMDRIA Certified Therapist
I believe that therapy is the most transformative when we feel deeply understood, valued, and supported. That is why I prioritize building a warm, nonjudgmental, and authentic therapeutic relationship starting at the first session. My approach to therapy continues to build on this foundation. Showing up in a genuine, present, and honest way in the therapy room is at the heart of how I work.
A core part of my work is honoring that you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to provide all the answers, but to support you in gaining clarity around what you're experiencing, processing and healing from past wounds, strengthening skills, and building confidence in your ability to create meaningful change in your life. We move at a pace that feels right for you, guided by your needs and what feels most supportive in each moment.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and EMDRIA Certified Therapist, I structure and guide the therapeutic process by drawing on specialized, evidence-based approaches that shape the work we do together in session. I take an integrative approach, drawing from EMDR, CBT, ACT, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and relational approaches depending on your needs and goals. I aim to integrate clinical expertise with a deep respect for your lived experience so my support is both effective and personally relevant.
Outside of my work, I try to create balance in my life and stay connected to the things that bring me joy. I enjoy staying active through pickleball, long walks with my dog, yoga, and spending time in nature. I also really value quality time with friends and family, as well as taking time to unwind with a good book, calming music, or meditation.
